Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to manage fever, pain and inflammation. Ibuprofen works by nonselective inhibition of the cyclooxegenase enzyme COX-1 and COX-2.

Dosage

1-2 years (7-12 kg)

• 2.5 ml 3 times a day

3-7 years (14-23 kg)

• 5 ml 3 times a day,

8-12 years (25-40kg) 10 ml

• 3 times a day; for 3 days.
• Do not give to children below 7 kg weight or 1 year age, except on the advice of your doctor.
